Our playgroups have become more popular than we had planned for! With all the excitement and safety concerns revolving around playgroups, it's only natural there would be a few rules to abide by. Please keep in mind that we enforce these rules for the safety of all 4-legged and 2-legged participants involved with Bully Roundup!!

rulesimgRules-

1. Unaltered dogs over 6 months are not allowed**
2. All participating dogs need to have an rsvp.

3. Adopted dogs must be with their new owners a minimum of 3 months before attending a Roundup.***
4. No females in heat will be allowed.
5. No pinch collars or choke chains allowed during play (please bring a regular collar/harness to be left on)

A maximum of participating dogs will be set at our discretion (based on factors such as age, etc.)

We reserve the right to ask you to leave at any time during a Roundup.

** If you have an unaltered dog that's older than 6 months and you would like to attend, please contact us and explain your situation. If it's a question of funding, we have resources that will help you obtain an EXTREMELY low-cost or FREE spay/neuter for your dog.

*** This rule does not apply to rehomed dogs already involved with Bully Roundup.

New to the Roundup?
Here's some things to know...
All new participants need to arrive 20-30 minutes before the beginning of the Roundup for an introduction to the grounds. We'll discuss your dog's likes, dislikes, and concerns while he/she explores the grounds without all the excitement of a ton of other dogs involved. We'll have one or two "tester" dogs at the introduction to see how they play. After arriving we will take a leashed walk down the pasture and back, giving  your dog plenty of time to sniff and get used to the presence of the tester dogs, and the grounds.  It'll give us all a good chance to observe body language and see if your pal's going to fit in or not!

As the regular participants arrive, your dog will have the opportunity to meet them one at a time, instead of all at once (as would happen with coming later). Your first Roundup is a trial for your dog. If things go wonderfully, feel free to continue participating in Roundups. If your first visit doesn't go as good as hoped, there's room for discussion and possible solutions to the problems that might come up. As always, if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
