Sheila has over 15 years experience training and working with dogs. She owned and operated Merry Menagerie, a dog walking, training, and pet sitting business for 9 years, was a foster parent/puppy trainer for PawsAbilities of Montana, which provides service dogs for people with physical challenges. Currently she is a professional dog trainer in South King County and has been for the last 5 years. Her three best friends are a doberman, a poodle chihuahua mix and a cavachion. Sheila is working with us to help some of our pups attain their Canine Good Citizen awards!! If you'd like to learn about what exactly a CGC award is, check out the information over at the AKC website. We will start with basic training for a few weeks and mesh it into CGC training slowly. The goal for this class is to prepare the dogs to take their CGC test on August 21st at the 2nd Annual Pit Bulls on Parade. CGC testing at POP '10 will be FREE this year for pit bulls and mixes! All other dogs are welcome to test for only a $10 fee. Classes will be $10 a class per dog. You can come to as many or as few as you like! Only need CGC preparation? Just come for the last few lessons... You will need a leash, collar, training treats, lawn chair, and a 30' training lead. SPACE IS LIMITED! REGISTER SOON! |
